I think it's really cool how God works in so many different ways. Last night, the men of the Commons came together at Tim Corbin's house to watch a little Monday Night Football. Yeah, I think Jesus is down with a little MNF, but not so much the game as He is a bunch of guys creating community. That was the whole purpose. We, as leadership, are passionate about creating community among the guys in our church and one way we can accomplish this is through burgers, hot wings, cokes, and some football. Loved last night, though my Fantasy Football team lacked a little in the scoring department. It was cool seeing all the guys come together and just have a great time and connect. Football, cars, life, and funny stories seem to be the thread to stitch guys together. I would say last night was a successful step to greater things to come with the men of our church. -Cham
